The Warriors are back, Playoff bound, and ready to fight

Stephen Curry, 37 Points.

Following their win against the Brooklyn Nets last night, Golden State Warriors move to 12-2, boasting the best defensive record in the NBA this season while maintaining their reliability from an offensive standpoint.

Steve Kerr's side has shocked rival fans with their impressive performances, plus with James Wiseman and Klay Thompson still to return into the rotation from injuries, the Dubs are proving to be a title favourite this season.

Kerr seems to hold a role model status within the Warriors dressing room.

This is backed by the fact the Dubs are yet to lose a game when behind at halftime.

He clearly understands what needs to be said to motivate the squad he holds in the dressing room.

The Warriors have trailed 35% of their games heading into halftime, yet are leading in the league with a 12-2 record.

It's perplexing to look at from an outside perspective and for someone who hasn't seen Curry and the Dubs' second half of basketball.

The Warriors tend to show up and do their best business in the third and fourth quarters.

This is due to the quality of their rotation, the chemistry between them, plus the experience and talent duo that fuse to show up when it counts.

The Warriors really do have an exceptional core of experience.

three-time ring winner Andre Iguodala,

Record-breaker Stephen Curry

2017 defensive player of the year Draymond Green

Kerr's side struggled during periods of the opening two quarters.

However, Kerr noticed that a simple change in defensive formation could neutralise the majority of the Net's offensive prowess.

The Warriors then went from a three and a five-point lead in the opening two quarters to a 22 and 18 point lead in the third and fourth quarters.

The duo of Kevin Looney and Draymond Green has been a piece of defensive genius from Kerr.

This season, the pair have led the rotation to become defensively in synch and showcased good leadership in the lineup.

This is backed by the leading defensive record already discussed.

The win vs the Nets was a statement for the Warriors.

While they were scrapping and clawing their failed attempt to the playoffs last year, they are giving themselves a significantly better chance this time round at not only making the playoffs but topping their conference and ultimately coming away with the championship.

The Golden State are a team to be reckoned with this season, and fans of basketball should be tuning into the still-developing side to see how they get on in what is to be a demanding season,

The Warrior's last game on this road trip is against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.

Kerr will be hoping for a similar performance from his side, with minor developments in underlying issues.
