Anthony Page: Hashtag's motivated number one in an encouraging team.

The season has been encouraging from Hashtag United.

The recently promoted side, currently sitting 8th in the Isthmian North League, continues to push through the football pyramid into the promise land of league football.

Hashtag United Goalkeeper Anthony Page spoke on what could unfold through the rest of the season for himself and his thoughts on what Hashtag can achieve:

“we’re at a point now where we’re playing really well, and I’m having a good season.

“We’re in a really strong position to kinda push for something bigger.

“It’s great to keep our head on the ground and just think, let’s see, let’s take it game by game and see where we end up rather than put ourselves under any kind of pressure because I don’t think anyone expected us to be in the position that we are in right now as well.”

Hashtag are currently four points behind the playoff spots, and with plenty more games to play, there is no reason why the exciting side can’t continue to push for a place to get an opportunity to go and get back to back promotions.

The former Heybridge Swifts man spoke on his perspective on how he wants to approach the remaining games:

“The best thing I would do is just take it game by game and see where we go, but I have high hopes.”

Hashtag United’s next game is away vs AFC Sudbury on the 26th of February.

Sudbury currently sits in 10th place, just a single point behind Hashtag.

Will the Tags be able to build off their win against Tilbury this past Saturday?
