The Lionesses brushed past Latvia 20-0 in a record crushing victory.




 

The Lionesses win was historic, as they squashed their previous highest-scoring game by eight in a 20-goal thriller.


The Record-breaking game also see a new top goal scorer made, Ellen White [48 international goals]


The Ladies had no significant chances against them, a quiet day for their defence.


The Lionesses had a rampant opening 15, with a brace via Ellen White to secure herself as the lionesses all-time top goal scorer [47], and a brace from Beth Mead


Ella Toone joined in on the goal-scoring in the 19th minute and kept the Lionesses in Toone with the game they had brought into the opening 15 minutes.


Beth Mead secured a hat-trick in the 23rd minute with a neatly stricken shot into the bottom left corner.


The hungry Lionesses then finished off the opening half with a hat-trick secured from Toone and then shortly before from Lauren Hemp.


In the second half, it didn’t take long for England to match their previous win against Latvia with goals from Ellen White and Georgia Stanway.


The Lionesses topped their previous score against Latvia [10-0] in just 15 minutes with goals from White, Georgia Stanway and Jessica Carter


The Lionesses topped their biggest win of all time with goals from Bethany England and Jill Scott.


Following the win, England now has a +53-goal difference, still undefeated in the qualification stages and show no sign of losing soon.
